Save The Dates

Save the Dates are a great way to ensure your guests keep your wedding date free. It can be anything from a magnet for their fridge, a card with a photo of the two of you on it, or just a little note to give them the details. No matter what, it’ll be something to keep you and your partner in the back of their minds.

Sending out save the dates is a fairly simple process. There are just a few things we mention to our couple’s leading up to it.

1. Know When to Send Them– We tell our couple’s to send out their save the dates 9-12 months before their wedding date.

2. Gather Guest Addresses– This can take a bit when you have a larger guest count and you don’t want to wait on sending them out because you don’t know where you’re mailing them.

3. Add Your Wedding Website– Your wedding website doesn’t have to be complete; even having the basics will be enough to start. This will give your guests a place to check for any lodging information as they book hotels, transportation information if you are providing shuttles, local activities if family is traveling in for the weekend, etc…

4. Have Your Planner Check Them Over– We have full faith in you, it just never hurts to have an extra pair of eyes 😊

If you feel like you and your partner may need some guidance through this process, along with other aspects of your wedding, WPP would love to help make your day go seamlessly!

Xoxo,
The WPP Team
