Sydney and Jon celebrated their wedding day on the groom’s parents’ farm in Hartwick, NY. Although they live in New Jersey they decided to bring their family and friends to Upstate New York to witness their ceremony and celebrate with them for the entire weekend. After months of planning they happily experienced a perfect summer wedding weekend.
Having a wedding on a farm means great opportunities for fun photos! Chickens buzzed around and greeted guests as they arrived. Sydney and Jon’s ceremony was on the side lawn overlooking the mountains. The bright red barn on site, which still had the original dairy area in the lower level, was the spot for cocktail hour. And a beautiful sailcloth tent was placed in front of the farmhouse for guests to enjoy dinner and dancing.
I absolutely loved working with these two and already miss all of the laughter we had on our planning calls. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness, Sydney and Jon!
