Accent Rentals

When you want to bring the wow factor and showcase your unique style in your wedding a great place to focus on is in accent rentals.  Accent rentals are things like vintage lounge furniture, colored glassware, specialty signage, champagne walls, and neon lights.  Think minimal meets maximal in terms of usage as you can have a few cute items out on a welcome table or load your entire reception with visual pieces that pop.

Being an event designer with WPP, I am given the opportunity to cover all things accent rental related with our couples.  When selecting your venue or caterers, always ask if accent decor is part of the package they provide. This helps with your overall budget. They might not have all of the pieces you want, but even table linens and lighting can help save a few dollars.

Florists are another way to add accent decor to your tables and scenery. Most florists will have in their inventory a selection of taper candle holders in crystal, metal or glass, along with votive holders in different texture or colors to complete the look.

Whether it be natural woven chargers or beaded glass chargers, chargers on the tables can add color and texture to the setting. This will make your tables look complete without having china placed on the tables.

Upgrading your napkin or table runner is a simple accent that can enhance the design element and pull your colors together. You can even use something like cheesecloth or velvet instead of the standard satin used. To complete this look add an elegant or fun napkin ring.

My FAVORITE accent rentals of 2023 are vintage goblets. A lot of larger rental companies have added these to their inventory. If that is not the case near you, look into specialty rental companies for the remaining pieces you need. I am extremely lucky to have amazing rental partners to work with.

Here at WPP our team loves to collaborate together and with our vendor partners to ensure your wedding looks and feels completely and authentically you.

Xoxo,
Margette
