Melissa and Jeff stepped away from city life to enjoy a beautiful Fall wedding with friends and family in the Hudson Valley on September 23, 2017. Their venue of choice was The Barn on Hubbard. Having an amazing eye for fashion Melissa, found a vintage skirt while on the hunt for her wedding gown. Working with a designer Melissa turned what was a skirt into a stunning one of a kind vintage gown. Her bridesmaids wore complimenting taupe dresses, a perfect color for Fall weddings in the northeast. The deep-toned dahlias in the bouquets from Sugar Blossom Farm accompanied the ladies’ dresses beautifully.
The Barn on Hubbard’s gorgeous views of the rolling countryside provided a beautiful ceremony backdrop. Guests enjoyed cocktails in the soft evening light and warm September air, while listening to the beautiful strings of the Appassionata Players. Soon guests were welcomed into the gorgeous barn decorated by SPACE-NY, where chandeliers were hung, rustic wooden posts wrapped with cornstalks, and farm style tables adorned with mismatched china. Guests enjoyed a full hearty meal provided by Hickory BBQ and Smokehouse, while listening to the most heartfelt toasts given by loved ones. After happy tears were shed and hugs galore, DJ Ty started the party and truly kept it rocking into the night!
