Temerson and Mark- The Equinox

When it comes to winter weddings, Temerson and Mark set the bar sky-high. They didn’t just throw a wedding—they curated an unforgettable weekend celebration that has us ready to put summer weddings on ice. Their love story began on the slopes, and what better way to celebrate their union than by incorporating the very thing that brought them together: skiing.

Day 1: A Skiing Adventure to Remember
The weekend kicked off with a thrilling day of skiing at Bromley Mountain. With perfect blue skies, crisp air, and ideal conditions on the slopes, Temerson and Mark invited their closest family and friends to share in the excitement of a winter wonderland. There was something magical about everyone racing down the mountain, filled with joy, laughter, and a sense of excitement. The day culminated with a welcome party at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, where the newlyweds greeted their guests with warm toasts and light bites—setting the stage for the festivities ahead.

Day 2: The Big Day at the Equinox Resort
Day 2 was nothing short of spectacular. Temerson and Mark’s wedding at the Equinox Resort felt like stepping into a dreamy ski lodge. Our Wedding Designer Margette transformed the Equinox’s traditional ballrooms and created spaces that took everyone’s breath away.  Pine trees lined the entryways, creating a rustic, yet elegant, atmosphere. Guests were treated to a cocktail hour in a space that we turned into a cozy, chic alpine retreat. All four walls were covered in fabric with vignettes of ski lodge seating areas and oversized paintings on the fabric draped walls. Think: oversized lounge furniture, plaid blankets draped over chairs, and stunning antler chandeliers hanging from above.

The dress code was as stylish as it was seasonal: guests donned luxurious fur coats and elegant winter dresses, blending glamour with warmth.

Once inside, guests were wowed with lush tall centerpieces and beautifully arranged place settings, all designed by Margette.  The reception kicked off with heartfelt toasts, delicious food, and the kind of dancing that kept the floor packed all night long. And whenever anyone needed a break they headed out to a one-of-a kind ski lift photobooth that Margette designed for them.  This was an especially fun touch, letting guests snap memories on a real chair lift car to fully embrace the winter wedding vibe. It was clear: this wasn’t just any wedding, it was a celebration of love, adventure, and the beauty of winters in Vermont.

Day 3: A Farewell Brunch to Remember
On Day 3, the weekend wound down with a laid-back farewell brunch, giving guests one final chance to reflect on the unforgettable memories they’d made. Laughter filled the air as people exchanged stories from the weekend’s events, and everyone agreed that this was a wedding experience like no other.

Temerson and Mark’s winter wedding was a testament to their adventurous spirits and their desire to make every moment count. It was a celebration that not only embraced the magic of winter, but also set a new standard for how to host a wedding weekend – and we loved planning and designing the whole weekend of events for them. From skiing with friends to cozy receptions and stunning decor, they showed us all that a winter wedding is a perfect way to start a lifelong adventure together.

Xoxo,
Eliza
