On June 15th, 2024, Tara and Kristina tied the knot in the most adventurous and heartfelt way—surrounded by the lake, Adirondack mountains, their favorite people, and the magic of summer camp. Their wedding wasn’t just a day; it was an unforgettable weekend of celebration at Forest Lake Camp, filled with laughter, love, and lakeside memories.

The couple exchanged vows atop a hiking trail with a breathtaking view of the mountains as their backdrop. Their intimate ceremony included the symbolic “Ceremony of the Chord,” a meaningful ritual that perfectly reflected their bond.

Rather than a traditional wedding weekend, Tara and Kristina embraced the spirit of summer and invited 176 guests to join them in a full camp experience. Everyone stayed in cozy camp cabins and spent the days playing tug of war, doing yoga, hitting home runs in pickup baseball, singing their hearts out at karaoke, and cooling off in the lake. It was nostalgia and joy in equal measure.

Cocktail hour took place outdoors under the sun, with guests mingling at picnic tables and soaking up the relaxed, happy vibes. A Polaroid guest book captured moments big and small, filled with smiling faces, goofy poses, and heartfelt messages.

As the sun dipped behind the mountains, the party kicked into high gear. The reception featured all the beloved formalities—speeches, first dances, and happy tears—but kept the camp energy alive with a naked cake privately cut by Tara and Kristina, an epic dance floor, flowing drinks, and an ice cream sundae bar that had everyone grinning like kids again.

When the night seemed to be winding down, a delivery of late-night pizza kept the party going and stomachs full.

Tara and Kristina’s wedding was a celebration of love, community, and pure joy. By turning their big day into a full-on camp adventure, they created an experience their guests will never forget—and a beautiful, wild start to their life together.
