Shannon and Josh chose The Sagamore Resort for their wedding weekend. Shannon and Josh have been waiting for this day since Kindergarten. Yes, Kindergarten! They met the first time when Shannon sat across Josh in class. She knew right away that he was something special and that he was about to have a huge impact on her life.

They started their weekend with a dinner cruise on Lake George and a lakeside welcome party for their closest family and friends. As a stunning surprise, the dress that Shannon wore on Friday was the dress her mom wore on her wedding day!!

Saturday was wedding day and even with the haze around the lake, their day was absolutely beautiful. Shannon and Josh did a private first look on top of the Sagamore with nothing less than gleaming smiles on their faces. Their ceremony was tear jerking as Shannon and Josh cited their personal wedding vows to one another.

The reception kicked off in Sagamore’s Shelving Rock Terrace and all the guests poured into the tent as background music played and the first course set the stage. Just when we thought their wedding couldn’t get any better, Shannon and her father had the most epic Father/Daughter dance. There was also a live sax and percussion player that just elevated their reception music. The event was pure brilliance and we could not have been happier for these two!

To end their amazing weekend Shannon and Josh had a farewell brunch at Sagamore with all their guests before all the hugs and a series of good byes. Their wedding was not only a dream for them, but also for their guests and us vendors. Such a wonderful weekend for them and for WPP!
