Lydia and Morgan’s wedding was more than just a day—it was an unforgettable three-day celebration nestled in the charm of Manchester, Vermont. With the iconic Equinox Resort as their backdrop and their closest friends and family by their side, every detail was as thoughtful and joyful as the couple themselves.
Day One: The Warm-Up
The weekend kicked off with a breezy ceremony rehearsal where laughter and happy tears foreshadowed the fun that was to come. From there, everyone made their way to the Reluctant Panther, a cozy venue just steps from the resort, for a private rehearsal dinner. Toasts from loved ones added warmth and excitement, followed by a welcome party where guests joined in for a light-hearted roast of the bride and groom that had the entire crowd in stitches. It was the perfect way to start the festivities—with heartfelt words, shared stories, and lots of laughter.
Day Two: The Big Day
Wedding day arrived with sunshine and blue skies over the Equinox mountains. The guys started with a round of golf while the ladies enjoyed a yoga session before getting ready. Lydia, with the help of her mom and sister, slipped into her perfectly tailored Kleinfeld gown. Meanwhile, Morgan prepared for the day ahead just a short walk away.
Their first look was heartfelt and serene—and made even sweeter with the arrival of their beloved dog, who made more than one cameo throughout the day. From cocktail napkins to entrance stamps at the after party, their pup was truly a part of the celebration.
Guests were welcomed to a stunning outdoor ceremony surrounded by vibrant florals and thoughtful details. Lydia and Morgan exchanged vows, wiped away tears, and sealed their marriage with Morgan breaking the glass to a resounding “Mazel Tov!”
Cocktail hour featured live music, a full bar, and incredible personalized touches. As the reception tent came to life, it was impossible to choose just one standout feature. Was it the 24-foot bar with lounge seating? The glowing four-foot long mega cake? The soft candlelight or luxe florals? Margette, WPP’s Event Designer, created an amazing weekend of design and made sure every element came together in the most magical way.
The night was full of dancing, laughter, and connection. The hora brought everyone to their feet, and the energy never let up. When the reception wound down, the party wasn’t over. Guests were invited back to the bar at the Equinox for an after party—entry marked by a hand stamp of (you guessed it) their dog. A perfect, playful end to an unforgettable day.
Day Three: The Farewell
The weekend wrapped with a well-earned brunch at the resort. Guests filtered into the ballroom, sipping coffee and reminiscing over the night before. The space was decorated with repurposed florals from the reception—an elegant final touch to a weekend filled with beauty and heart.
Lydia and Morgan’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration—it was an experience. From start to finish, it was full of love, thoughtful details, and moments that will be remembered forever. We are endlessly grateful to have chosen to plan, design and coordinate the wedding weekend for them, and couldn’t be happier for what is to come for this amazing bride and groom.
