I had the privilege of coordinating Amber and Christian’s special day in Lake Placid, New York. It was a wonderful day for a wonderful couple!  Amber and Christian were able to completely relax, take everything in and completely enjoy every moment of their wedding day. There was a looming threat of rain all day – but all we ended up getting was some sporadic sprinkles! Horray!  We all got to work with an incredible team of professionals too!  What a great day…

Amber and Christian’s day began at the Lodges at the Crowne Plaza Resort & Golf Club, where the bride and groom got beautified amongst their bridal party. Christine from CARU Salon (NJ) did an amazing job on all the girls hair. Following the bride and groom getting into their attire, they did a “teaser” first look and gift exchange where they gifted one another some pretty sweet watches! Check out the photos below to see the “teaser” first look. It’s such a fun idea- it really builds the anticipation for the real first look!

Amber and Christian’s first look was priceless- Christian, I will never forget your face when you saw your bride! It was so sweet and touching. Not a dry eye anywhere! Then it was time for formal photos; the bride and groom chose the amazingly talented Jessica Painter Photography to capture their day. Jessica and Ed worked their magic with Amber and Christian, as you will surely see in the photos below. After bride and groom photos, it was time for bridal party photos, then it was ceremony time. Check out that background to their ceremony…absolutely amazing backdrop. The views from the Crowne Golf Club are just out of this world!

The cocktail hour and reception were such a fun time. Kimberly from Elite Entertainment did a great job and kept the dance floor packed all night long. Amber and Christian were truly able to enjoy dancing the night away with their family and friends. The dessert table by Cake Placid was a sure hit, as was the cigar bar that was provided by the bride and groom. Jessica Painter was able to sneak them away for some awesome late night sparkler shots and the couple also did a “sparkling exit” at the end of the night! A truly great event for truly great people.
