Amy and Colin’s wedding at the historic Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs was the kind of day that reminds us why we love what we do. As one of our partial planning couples, we had the honor of being with them from the very beginning—helping bring their vision to life every step of the way. And when it all came together, it was even better than we imagined.

The morning began with Amy getting ready alongside her bridesmaids, the room buzzing with excitement. When she stepped into her gown, jaws dropped. She was stunning—her look classic, elegant, and perfectly suited for the venue’s vintage charm.

While rain shifted our original plans, it ended up being a blessing in disguise. Amy and Colin shared their first look inside the parlor of the casino, with their ceremony florals repurposed as the perfect backdrop. Their closest family and bridal party watched from the corner, making it a truly intimate and emotional moment. It felt like it was always meant to happen that way.

We captured portraits throughout the venue, and honestly—it was like they belonged there all along. One of our favorite images from the day? A gorgeous ballroom shot of Amy and Colin mid-dip, exuding pure magic and timeless romance.

The ceremony took place in the same parlor, and Amy’s cathedral veil brought such grace and sophistication to the setting. As if on cue, the rain stopped just after the ceremony, and we snuck out to Congress Park for newlywed portraits. The soft light, the lush surroundings, and the newlywed glow—it was a dream.

Their reception in the Canfield ballroom was just as thoughtful. Amy and Colin chose a nontraditional floor plan, with angled tables all facing them. It created such a warm, inclusive feel for the evening. From heartfelt toasts to nonstop dancing, the celebration carried on in true Saratoga style.

We’re so grateful to have been part of such a joyful, meaningful day. Amy and Colin—thank you for trusting us to help bring it all to life.
