Cara & Geoffrey- Dorset Field Club

Cara and Geoffrey celebrated their marriage on a day that felt like it came straight out of a Hallmark movie. With the ceremony held at the Dorset Church and a cocktail hour and reception following at the beautiful Dorset Field Club, their wedding was a blend of classic elegance, heartfelt moments, and natural beauty.

As guests gathered outside the historic church, they were handed flower cones filled with petals. When Cara and Geoffrey made their grand exit as husband and wife, the petals flew joyfully through the air—an ethereal moment that marked the beginning of a truly magical celebration.

From the start, Cara and Geoffrey were intentional about their wedding day. In every conversation, one thing was clear—they wanted their guests to feel loved and cared for. More than anything, they hoped to be present with their friends and family, savoring every moment of the day together.

They brought a wonderful sense of intention to every element of the day, drawing inspiration from the charm of the English countryside. Guests stepped into a beautifully tented reception that exuded both romance and refined whimsy. Thoughtful touches were everywhere—from the decorative salad plates to the delicate edible chamomile flowers floating in glasses, and the lemon bundt cakes. These subtle pops of color and texture created a warm, inviting atmosphere—proof that even the smallest details can leave a lasting impression.

The skies played their part in the story, too. Though the forecast brought some rain, it cleared at just the right moment for portraits. The resulting overcast skies created a stunning soft light that framed the Vermont mountains perfectly in every photo.

One of the most touching parts of the evening came during Cara’s toast. In an emotional tribute to her mother, she dedicated her bouquet to her, creating a heartfelt moment that brought tears and cheers alike—a gesture that perfectly reflected the love and gratitude that surrounded the day.

From the petal toss to the mountain views, every detail worked in harmony to create a day their guests—and they—will never forget.
