Hayley and Nick were married this past August in Manchester Center, Vermont. The girls got ready at the Equinox Resort, the ceremony was held across the street at the First Congregational Church, and their reception kicked off just down the road at the Ekwanok Country Club.
Hayley and Nick live in Connecticut but have family ties in southern Vermont. They chose the quintessential New England town and the country club that they belong to as the spot for their celebration. The weather sat right at the edge of rain all day long, but Hayley and Nick were still able to get photos taken in front of the Green Mountain backdrop, and have a flower toss send off from the church to the reception.
They had a wedding full of fun details. One of my favorites was their first dance which they had been practicing all afternoon long because the choreographed dance ended with Nick tossing Hayley in a full flip! They were so nervous to attempt it in front of everyone but when the moment came they rocked it – everyone was wowed! I also loved the menu cards that were specific to the entrees everyone ordered so that each guest was able to read and get excited about exactly what they were being served. And the end of the night sparkler send off was so sweet, along with the vintage family cars that were used to transport the couple and their bridal party.
Thank you Hayley and Nick for inviting me to play a small part in your big day. You guys were so sweet and fun to work with, and I couldn’t be happier for you! What a wedding!
xoxo,
Shannon
