As we monitor the situation with Covid-19 and its effect on weddings and events we are continuing to update you all here on the latest.
This week New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that our state on PAUSE is being extended until May 15th. This means a continued ban on social gatherings, schooling, non-essential business operations, and that everyone needs to continue to maintain a minimum distance of at least 6 feet apart. These restrictions now take us out until the middle of May.
In addition the Governor has required everyone to wear face masks anytime they are within 6 feet of another person.
The recent news means that weddings in early to mid-May should be looking either to postpone, or to keep their date and switch to an elopement with social distancing standards put in place.
We will continue to post news and advice as the world news changes, so please keep checking back in for the latest information.
As a reminder, we have been offering a completely FREE 30-minute phone consultation for any couple who has specific questions and concerns about their wedding. This offers runs until May 1, 2020 so please contact us today if you are looking to get in before the end of this month.
Be safe and well everyone.
Shannon
