Terri and Mike’s beginning was a (literal) homerun so it was only fitting that their wedding day followed suit. They started out as strangers at a Yankee game and what started as some lucky tickets turned into a lifetime of fun.
Terri is from Albany and fell in love with 60 State’s grandeur and elegance, and while Mike is from Long Island, he is quite the self-proclaimed New York State History buff – so needless to say this historic building was perfect for them.
They went with a baseball theme for their wedding to reflect the way they met, with him wearing a Yankees hat as he walked to the venue, and Terri had a custom jersey she wore for some private photos before the ceremony. They had classic cracker jax boxes as place cards, and of course- baseballs included in the table decor.
Terri hand made so many elements of their day, from all of the signage to the homemade sugar cookies that were enjoyed as favors. To end the evening, a sparkler send-off was the only fitting way to send off these newlyweds!
Cheers to Terri, Mike (and the Yankees)
Xoxo
