2026 Wedding Trends We’re Loving

If 2025 taught us anything, it’s that couples are done playing it safe. As we head into 2026, weddings are getting bolder, louder, more colorful and way more fun. Couples want their celebrations to feel like them. Full of personality, energy and unforgettable moments. Here’s what we’re seeing everywhere and fully expect to dominate 2026 weddings.

Color Is Back (And It’s Not Subtle)
Neutral palettes are taking a backseat as couples lean into color, real color. Bright oranges, punchy pinks, sunny yellows, and unexpected combinations are everywhere. Whether it’s colorful florals, bold linens, statement glassware, or mismatched bridesmaid looks, couples are using color to bring life and joy into their day. The vibe? Playful, intentional and anything but boring.

Bands Are Getting More Youthful and Bringing the Energy

Couples are prioritizing the dance floor more than ever, and that starts with the right entertainment. We’re seeing a rise in youthful, high-energy bands that feel more like a concert than a wedding performance. Think nonstop movement, crowd interaction and a packed dance floor from start to finish. DJs still have their place, but bands with personality and presence are having a major moment in 2026.

More Food, More Fun
Gone are the days of a simple cocktail hour spread and a predictable plated dinner. 2026 weddings are all about extra food moments that surprise and delight guests. Some of our favorites:

  • Cannoli men making the rounds, filling and serving fresh cannolis to guests on the dance floor
  • Oyster shuckers during cocktail hour with a spread of mignonette sauces and toppings
  • Espresso martini bars that feel posh and double as late-night energy boosts
  • Ice Cream Carts serving the treats and keeping things feeling playful and fun

Couples want guests fed and entertained and honestly, we love that for everyone.

Tiered Cakes Are Officially Back
Small single layer cutting cakes? We’re saying goodbye to that this year. In 2026, tiered cakes are making a strong comeback and they’re better than ever. Whether minimal and modern or romantic and floral, cakes are once again becoming a statement moment. They’re no longer hidden in the corner; they’re styled, showcased and celebrated.

After Parties Are No Longer Optional
If the reception is the main event, the after party is the victory lap. Couples are planning intentional, high-energy after parties at bars, lounges, tents or unexpected locations. Think late-night party outfits, casual comfort food bites, themed décor and a whole new vibe once the reception formalities are done. In 2026, everyone needs an after party and guests are loving the additional time to mix and mingle.

Final Thoughts
The weddings we are planning for 2026 are joyful, expressive and unapologetically fun. Couples are designing days that feel less like traditions they have to follow and more like experiences they can’t wait to share. Color, energy, food, music and late nights – it’s all about creating moments people will talk about long after the wedding is over.
