Michelle and Anthony were married at The Sagamore Resort on July 25, 2015. They picked an absolutely gorgeous day for a wedding on Lake George and they treated their guests to an incredible Adirondack experience.
Michelle first reached out to me back in November looking for day-of wedding coordination. Anthony had proposed to her on the lake right in front of the Sagamore a year earlier and they knew they had to come back to that magical place to say their I Do’s. She had a vision of having an elegant wedding with chandeliers and colors of pinks and corals. She was on track to build an amazing wedding!
Speaking of the proposal on the lake – Anthony had brought Michelle out on a Hackercraft boat on the lake and after revealing the ring and hearing Michelle say yes he held up a giant sign that read “She Said Yes”. That sign made an appearance at the reception and tied the whole experience together for them.
On the day-of I got to meet the real star of this wedding – Michelle and Anthony’s adorable little dog named Baxter. Baxter is 7 pounds soaking wet and because of a few missing teeth his tongue hangs permanently outside his adorable little face. My assistant Tommie and I could not stop loving up on Baxter, who was appropriately dressed in a mini doggie tuxedo. Michelle and Anthony looked amazing that day but when Baxter was around it was hard to not have all eyes on him. (If you follow me on Instagram you got to see Baxter in real time!)
Joining me for this wedding was an incredible team of vendor friends! All of these pictures here were taken by the talented Tom Wall, and now that he has shot their engagement and their wedding I would have to think that Tom will have a seat at their Thanksgiving table year after year. And for good reason! DJ’ing this fine event was Paul Malo of PM Productions, shooting video was Phillip Coltart, and the gorgeous flower arrangements were made by On Thai of Surroundings Floral Studio. My girl Abby from the Sagamore was a great help to us, Total Events supplied the rentals that fancied up the reception space, and officiating the ceremony was Monsignor Christopher Richard. Last but certainly not least we had the power couple of Brooklyn Duo performing live music for the dinner hour, Jen Norton of True Grace doing all the girls’ makeup, Salon Seven’s Michelle did all the pretty hair do’s, and Upstate Transit handled the guest shuttle transportation.
Michelle and Anthony your wedding was so full of love and fun and I was so happy to be a part of it! I know you had lots of choices for wedding planners but I am so happy you picked me!
xoxo,
Shannon
