When I think of the ideal fall day, I think of crisp air, vibrant leaf colors and that fall sunshine that warms your heart. When I think of Erica & Joe’s wedding, I think of the ideal fall day that I just described. There couldn’t have been a more gorgeous autumn weather day for Erica and Joe – perfect day for a perfect couple!
We began this stunning day at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Saratoga with the amazing and talented team from True Grace Makeup. Not only are Jen + team so friendly, professional and beyond talented, they sure know how to keep things on time! Erica and all the girls were ready way before they even needed to be and they all looked incredibly flawless. The guys were getting ready just down the hall so my assistant Melissa and I rotated between rooms to make sure everything was perfect for everyone. Once everybody was ready, we coordinated transportation services with the wonderful Today’s Limousine to get the bridal party and parents to Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga for the First Look and bridal party photos.
Scott and Lisa Kretschmann were the photographers for this day and boy did they do a great job- helping everyone stay on time and nailing the most gorgeous images. Once photos were complete, we all headed up to Lake Luzerne for the ceremony, held at Holy Mother and Child Parish. Our beautiful bride Erica walked down the aisle right on time, with a relaxed smile on her face the whole time. The ceremony was about a half hour and once it was over, the bride and groom wanted to head directly to their venue, the beautiful National Museum of Dance in Saratoga.
Erica and Joe were able to check out their gorgeous ballroom and sip a cocktail at the National Museum of Dance before all their guests arrived, really allowing them to take in their wedding day and all the excitement that surrounded it. The tables were adorned with centerpieces from Johnstone Florist and Black Diamond Catering was busy preparing and presenting a fun, BBQ style meal for everyone. I am talking some delicious BBQ folks- YUM- and all the guests loved it! DJ Linda Terricola from Eclectic Songs kept the tunes rolling for everyone to enjoy all night and the Kretschmann photo booth was a huge hit for all guests too! To top it off, as guests were leaving the reception, they were invited to take a bottle of homemade beer made by the bride & groom. So fun!!!
It was a true pleasure to plan and coordinate for Erica and Joe. E and J- you two are amazing, down-to-earth, fantastic people and I am so glad I got to know you both through this process. I hope married life is treating you so well and that the plans for your upcoming honeymoon in Paris are coming along perfectly! xoxo Erin R
